Terms of use
Last updated 22 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Hasik Labs about using Haseek. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Your account
You must be at least 16. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete it at any time in Profile › Delete account.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
You may not post or send anything that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, misleading or fraudulent, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is spam. We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete the accounts that posted it. You can report reels, shops, products, messages and people from the ••• menu, and block shops or people so you no longer see them.
Text (shop details, products, captions, messages, names and reservation notes) is checked automatically against a list of blocked words before it's posted or sent; text that matches can't be posted. Content reported by 3 different people, or reported once for child safety, is hidden automatically until a moderator reviews it, and the moderator then removes it or shows it again. If you think we've hidden or removed your content by mistake, write to us and we'll look at it again. We remove child sexual abuse material and report it to the authorities.
Content you post
You keep ownership of the reels, photos and text you post. You give Hasik Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within Haseek, and to show it in our promotion of Haseek, for as long as it stays in the app. You confirm you have the right to post it, including the consent of people shown in it.
Shops and reservations
Shops are responsible for their products, prices, opening hours and how they handle reservations. A reservation is a request to set something aside; it is not a purchase, and payment happens between you and the shop. Hasik Labs is not a party to that sale. A reservation the shop doesn't confirm in time expires, and one that isn't collected while the shop holds it is released; you owe nothing in either case. Haseek is for shops that sell as businesses: a shop that has confirmed this shows “Business seller” on its page, and only those shops can be asked about delivery. If you agree a delivery or payment with a shop in chat, that is a contract between you and the shop, and the shop is responsible for it, including your consumer rights such as withdrawal.
How Haseek orders shops and products
Discover. What you see first depends mainly on how recent a reel is and how close the shop is to you. When you look at your whole country, distance counts less; worldwide, it doesn't count. Reels from shops you follow move up, and following counts more than a favourite category. If Personalized feed is on, what you do in Haseek also counts: watching, opening, saving, sharing, following, messaging, getting directions and reserving move a shop and its category up; skipping a reel moves it down a little, and “Not interested” hides that shop for about a month. To keep things varied, we show at most 2 reels from one shop and 3 from one category in any 5 in a row, and about every 10th reel comes from a shop you haven't engaged with yet.
Discover, shop by shop. In current versions of Haseek, Discover shows one shop at a time: swipe up for the next shop, and sideways (or tap) for more from the same shop. Each of a shop's reels gets the score described above, and the shop takes the place of its highest-scoring reel. A shop that posts more often is therefore more likely to have a fresh reel near the top. Paid plans allow more reels a week (the Free plan allows 3), but a reel's score never depends on the shop's plan. To keep things varied, we show at most 3 shops from one category in any 5 in a row (when there are others to show), and about every 10th shop is one you haven't engaged with yet. Each shop appears once as you scroll, until the list is refreshed. A shop's turn starts with that best reel, followed by up to 5 more of its reels (its highlights first, see “On a shop's page”), up to 6 of its highlighted products and then the shop itself. The reels and products a shop pins change what you see inside its turn, never where the shop appears. If Personalized feed is on, looking through a shop's reels and products moves the shop and its category up, and swiping on to the next shop straight away moves it down a little.
Search. Search shows shops and products whose name, category or details contain every word you type (the start of a word is enough), nearest first. It doesn't use what Haseek has learned about you. When a search matches a very large number of shops or products, we only look at part of them, so add a word to narrow it down. The list of shops in the Shops tab is ordered by distance.
On a shop's page. A shop's highlights show up to 5 of its reels and then up to 6 of its products. The shop can choose up to 3 of those reels and up to 6 products, and their order; the rest are its newest reels and its newest products that are in stock, products with a photo first. Products the shop chose stay in its highlights when they sell out, marked “Sold out”. The shop's catalogue is grouped by type of product, and within each group products are listed in the order the shop added them. Searching within a shop shows its products whose name, description, type, details or options contain every word you type (the start of a word is enough), in catalogue order. Shops choose their highlights in the same way on every plan and can't pay Haseek to change this order.
Paid placement. Shops can't pay to move their ordinary reels, their place in Discover or their search results up. A shop can buy promoted views. In Discover reel by reel, its promoted reel then appears in set places among reels (for example as the 4th). In Discover shop by shop, the whole shop appears in set places among the first shops (currently the 3rd, 7th and 11th), starting with the promoted reel. Promoted reels and shops are always marked “Promoted”, on every card of a promoted shop, and never appear in search results. Promoted shops are picked from the shops whose promotion reaches where you are (5, 15 or 40 km from the shop, depending on its plan), at random when more shops promote than there are places. We don't use your interests to pick them, except that shops you've hidden (for example with “Not interested”) or blocked aren't promoted to you. Seeing a promoted reel or shop, looking through a promoted shop or swiping past it doesn't change how Haseek orders things for you. What you actively do with it, such as following the shop, saving, messaging, reserving or getting directions, counts as it would anywhere else, and in Discover reel by reel, watching a promoted reel to the end or swiping straight past it counts as it would for any other reel. A promoted view is counted when the promoted reel has been on your screen for at least a second, at most once a day per person (per account, or per internet connection if you're not signed in); older versions of the app count it when the reel is placed in your feed. Shops on paid plans can post more reels and promote them to people further away, but each reel is ordered in the same way as everyone else's.
You can turn off learning from your activity, or reset it, in Profile › Privacy (Personalized feed). Shops you follow and your favourite categories still count.
The service
We work to keep Haseek available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and may change, suspend or end features. To the extent the law allows, Hasik Labs isn't liable for indirect losses or for the conduct of shops or other users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Apple
These terms are between you and Hasik Labs, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Haseek or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. Your use must also comply with the App Store terms.
